We are looking for unique idea that truly inspires, excites and has resonates.

If you have submitted your idea through the expedited option, you can expect to hear from us within 30 working days or 6 weeks.

No! We are not publishers. We are here to bring together your ideas with someone who has skill with words, to create a manuscript. We will then pitch this manuscript – or book – to established and upcoming publishers. We are not here to help you (self) publish your manuscript.

Optioning a story means that it has been blocked by a media house/ buyer for a certain period within which they will take it forward, usually by buying the rights to the story. This also means they will pay you for that time period in which you may not show it elsewhere. Once that period is over, if they decide not to go ahead, you have the option to show it elsewhere. Think of it like making a non-refundable deposit on a ticket reservation – if they show up to claim the reservation, they have to pay you the entire cost of the ticket. Otherwise, if they don’t want the ticket, you get to keep the deposit and are also free to sell the ticket to someone else.

An expedited submission ensures that your idea or concept is assessed and responded to within 30 working days or six weeks. Standard submissions will get reviewed only after the expedited submissions, so are not bound by a time frame.

In the spirit of being able to tell the stories that need to be heard, and to ensure that money and access are not a constraints for those who need a voice, our standard submissions are aimed at ensuring that everyone gets to pitch their idea, no matter what their financial constraints.

You can send in multiple ideas, as long as you make separate submissions for each.
We do not accept submissions of entire manuscripts, nor do we represent completed works for publication/development.
